Serundeng Shredded Chicken (Ayam Suwir Serundeng)

Serundeng is a kind of seasoning preparations made ​​from toasted coconut. Many Indonesian dishes that comes with the condiments serundeng. One of which is shredded chicken serundeng. Serundeng aroma caused by the addition of the dish will arouse your appetite. Here is the step for tasting that serundeng aroma.

Ingredients:
- 1 coconut, grated, roasted
- 2 chicken breasts
- 500 cc of water
- 3 bay leaves
- 3 stalks lemongrass, crushed
- 5 kaffir lime leaves
- 2 tbsp brown sugar, sliced
- 3 tbsp tamarind water
- 5 tbsp granulated sugar

Spices that are blend:
- 10 grains hazelnut
- 12 spring onions
- 5 red chilies, seeded

How to make:
1. Boil the water. Boil chicken until tender, remove from heat, shredded.
2. Saute until fragrant spices. Give a little water.
3. Add chicken and toasted coconut.

  
For 6 portions.
